The urban redevelopment, Aspern in Vienna, is a leading implemented case in Europe which is enhancing the utilisation of low-use public land. The Aspern area had long been neglected due to the closure of aviation facilities. This European largest urban development project is predicted that the Vienna’s living zone will expand due to the creation of a total of 11,000 households, as well as the accessibility to travel by subway from central Vienna within 30 minutes. Half of the total development site will be created as public open spaces so that the project is spotlighted as a new residential area in Vienna.
